| The
Tukong
Moosul Association (TKMSA)
was founded by Grandmaster In Ki Kim (one of the original
six developers of Tukong Moosul in the South Korean Special
Forces) and Mr. Jimmy Higgins (GM Kim's first Tukong Moosul
Black Belt in the United States). It was created in
1996 when GM Kim and Mr. Higgins collaborated to open Academy
Schools in the Washington, D.C. area.
The TKMSA is very similar to the
Tukong
Moosul Federation (TKMSF)
structure and program, but with several variations in testing
requirements and programs offered. There are several modernizations
added to the original TKMSF program that include computer
training and class protocols as well. Also, all students
completing training to 1st Dan Black Belt level the TKMSA
will be certified by the officially recognized governing
bodies of different styles as a 3rd Dan in TKD, 1st Dan
in Hapkido and 1st Dan in Judo as well. These certifications
are recognized for Olympic and World Games competitions
by the governing certification bodies of those organizations.
This
Web Site is created for the promotion of ALL TKMS schools
and their programs by the TKMSA. Note theri are differences
in some schools and some programs are not offered in some
TKMSF schools.
