Testing Requirements | Tukong Moosul Lessons

Tukong Moosul Lessons
There are several lessons that are taught ONLY in
Tukong Moosul.  Several Students have asked that some
of these be posted.  Some of these Lessons are from
the White Tiger classes first taught in Austin Texas
under Mr. Jimmy Higgins.  Others are very specific
to Tukong Moosul or the AMAA in Virginia from Grandmaster In Ki Kim.
They are all here for everyone to use and teach.  They are knowledge
that anyone can incorporate into their school.

The TKMSA and the AMAA give permission to anyone to
copy and paraphrase any lessons seen here as long as original
credit is noted.  Thanks for the opportunity.

First 10 Reasons for Kiap (20 Total)

All 20 reasons are very detailed during different classes in Tukong Moosul.
Every student must understand the differnent reasons why the Kiap is so
important to training. Every martial artist should know the 20 reasons.  If you
were never taught them it is because your instructor was never taught.
Learn them and teach them to others.

I have only listed the first 10 here with brief explainations.   All Tukong Moosul
students in The Academies in Virginia are taught each reason in detail.

  1. Statement/Reality - Show you are Ready (Ready position)
  2. Psychological - Purify your Mind of doubt
  3. Psychological - Put doubt into your opponent's mind
  4. Biological - Purify your Body (CO2 is exhaled)
  5. Mental - Focus your concentration
  6. Statement/Reality - Accept commands
  7. Biomechanical - Synchronize your body movements (timing)
  8. Biological - Close your pressure points (vital point protection)
  9. Physics - Transfer energy better (gases compress)
  10. Emotional - Lift your Spirit
